Harry Kane The match-winner scoring two more finishes at international level. The first a classic close-range tap-in and the second an excellent headed goal following a clever run off his defender. Aged 32, he’s only getting better with the national team have every chance in the upcoming tournament with him leading the line. 8/10

The attacker Found it tough to make an impact out wide. Had a decent opportunity when set up by the midfielder but the keeper made the save. His replacement produced a bigger effect after coming on. 5
