Line of Duty Confirmed for Seventh Series on the British Broadcaster

The beloved police drama AC-12 will make a comeback for its seventh installment, announced by the BBC.

A brand new six-part series created by the show's creator starts production in Belfast in the coming months, as confirmed by the production team.

Vicky McClure shared her enthusiasm about the return, saying she was "so excited" about the show's renewal. Adrian Dunbar remarked, "What a joy it is to know that the Three Amigos will be back filming together next year."

Series seven begins with the anti-corruption unit having been disbanded and rebranded as the new police oversight body, as revealed by the announcement.

Martin Compston's character, Vicky McClure's role, and Adrian Dunbar's part continue tasked to tackle corruption within the police force.

The team's mission "has never been more difficult", and under these circumstances, the trio will take on their "most delicate case so far."

A new character, DI Dominic Gough, portrayed as a charismatic officer known for takedowns of criminal networks, faces allegations of abusing his position to become a offender.
